Fahir Atakoglu To Perform In Ankara

ANKARA - Renowned Turkish composer and pianist Fahir Atakoglu will give a concert in capital Ankara on March 9th.
Atakoglu will perform in Ankara within the framework of a tour aiming to promote his latest album "Istanbul in Blue".
Atakoglu was nominated as a candidate for the 51st Grammy Awards with this album.
Bassist Anthony Jackson, Grammy award winning drummer El Negro Hernandez, guitarist Wayne Krantz and saxophonist Bob Franchescini will accompany Atakoglu during his performance to take place at Ankara's MEB Sura Salonu.

Fahir Atakoglu, born in Istanbul, is a renowned Turkish pianist and composer who has worked with a wide range of artists across many genres of music, ranging in style from symphonic scoring to advertising jingles.
Atakoglu has created music for commercials, news segments, and documentaries via advertising agencies. He has also composed music for Turkey's top bands and musicians. He has recorded 9 albums which have sold over 2 million copies in 17 countries.
