ANKARA - Huseyin Saltuk Duzyol, director general of Turkish Petroleum Pipeline Corporation (BOTAS), said Wednesday all 81 Turkish provinces will receive natural gas within three years.
Currently, natural gas is supplied to 54 provinces.
Speaking to AA, Duzyol told that oil prices increased worldwide and foreign currencies gained value in Turkey.
"As such, we may have to increase the price of natural gas supplied in Turkey," Duzyol indicated.
"We expect the use of natural gas in Turkey to go up in 2008. Turkey will consume around 39 billion cubic meters of natural gas in 2008," Duzyol also said.
