Iran Voices Opposition To Nato Intervention In Middle East

TEHRAN (CIHAN) - Iran voiced its opposition to NATO's intervention into the internal affairs of Middle East countries.
Iranian Foreign Minister, Dr. Kemal Harrazi, referring to the NATO Summit in Istanbul, said on Monday that his country opposes NATO's intervention into the internal affairs of Middle East countries.
The remarks of the Iranian Foreign Minister came after the final declaration of the NATO Summit in Istanbul.
Following yesterday's meeting. NATO leaders reached an agreement to respond positively to the request of the Iraqi Interim Government for assistance with the training of its security forces, in accordance with UN Security Resolution 1546. The Iraq declaration, which was ratified by NATO leaders yesterday, encourages members to contribute to the support to be given to the Iraqi government.
Harrazi added that time will show whether the decision taken in the Istanbul summit will have an impact on regional countries or not.
