Fire Not Caused By Xenophobia Or Sabotage, German Prosecutor Liebig

BERLIN - German Prosecutor Lothar Liebig said Tuesday the recent fire that killed nine Turks including five children in Ludwigshafen, Germany was most probably not caused due to xenophia or a sabotage.
Liebig, who conducts the investigation into the fire, held a press conference on Tuesday.
He said no flammable materials were found at the fire scene, adding that the fire did not start due to any technical breakdown.
Liebig said the fire might have started upon the burning of the wooden stairs at the building's basement.
The German prosecutor also said that a letter they received earlier which alleged that the fire was a sabotage, was fake.
Liebig, who said Turkish experts freely attended the studies carried out by German officials, noted that the studies would continue.
