Renault - Turkey May Top Other Factories In The World, Esteve

GENEVA - Christian Esteve, a member of the Renault Management Committee and head of Euromed region, said Tuesday he thinks the Oyak Renault factory in Turkey may top other Renault factories in the world, in regard capacity utilization.
Oyak Renault factory is competing with Douai factory in Europe and both factories have a capacity around 360,000, he told reporters in Geneva, Switzerland where he attended an international automobile fair.
Esteve said a new model that will replace 'Renault Symbol' will be manufactured in Turkey and Turkey will continue to produce sedan cars.
