MUGLA - The number of foreign tourists that arrived in southwestern province of Mugla in the first two months of 2008 has risen by 114 percent over to the same period of 2007.
A total of 20,697 foreign tourists visited this Aegean province in January and February 2008, Mugla Governor Lutfi Yigenoglu said in a written statement on Tuesday.
Mainly British, German, Dutch, French and Greek tourists visited Mugla which is home to Turkey's popular coastal towns such as Marmaris, Fethiye, Bodrum, Dalaman and Datca, Yigenoglu said.
