Cuba Is Favourite Choice Of Turkish Tourists In Latin America, Abascal

IZMIR - Cuban Ambassador in Ankara Ernesto Gomez Abascal said Tuesday Cuba was the favourite choice of Turkish tourists in Latin America.
Ambassador Abascal who visited the Izmir Chamber of Commerce recalled that his country was chosen the honour guest of the 77th Izmir International Fair and said they wanted to promote Cuban culture and products at the fair.
Abascal said it was important that the theme of the fair was health care as Cuba could show the level it reached in this field. He said many Cuban companies would attend the fair.
Abascal said the trade volume between Turkey and Cuba had a rapid trend of growth.
"Many Turkish products are sold in Cuba, but these products are imported through intermediaries. We should work together to enable direct imports from Turkey," said Abascal.
