FINIKE - Dutch parliamentarian Jelleke Veenendaal, chairperson of the European Union Habitat, said Tuesday her spouse and she plan to settle in southern Turkish resort town of Finike in two years.
Jelleke Veenendaal and her husband Marc Palmen Veenendaal visited the construction site of their new home in Hasyurt region of Finike on Tuesday.
Paying a courtesy call to Finike Mayor Nail Dulgeroglu, Jelleke Veenendaal told that her family loves yachts.
"When making a preference for a location to settle, we wanted a place with a sea port. Finike has a sea port and its nature is beautiful," Jelleke Veenendaal noted.
I plan to learn Turkish soon, Jelleke Veenendaal also said.
