TURKEY EARNS 1.7 BN USD IN SIX MONTHS
TRABZON - Turkey exported 139,388 tonnes of hazelnuts between September 1st, 2007 and February 29th, 2008 which brought in an income of 1.7 billion USD.
100 kg of hazelnuts were sold for 788.8 USD.
Turkey exports hazelnuts to around 90 countries worldwide. Most of hazelnuts exports go to EU member states.
