LEFKOSA - UN Secretary General's Special Representative for Cyprus Michael Moller said Tuesday that a date for a meeting between Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and Greek Cypriot administration leader Demetris Christofias has not been set up yet.
"However, a date will be determined in the next few days for the meeting," Moller told.
Speaking to reporters after his meeting with TRNC President Talat, Moller indicated that he had a fruitful meeting with him. Both leaders in Cyprus are in favor of a settlement, Moller indicated.
"The two Cypriot leaders will meet in the second half of March," he also underlined.
In response to a question on the Lokmaci gate, Moller stressed that both sides are for the opening of this gate. "I am hopeful that the gate will be opened," Moller also said.
