ANKARA - World Bank social security and energy sector delegations are holding meetings in Turkey.
The delegation, comprised of World Bank's social security experts, is working on social security reform with experts of Turkish Labor and Social Security Ministry, Turkish Finance Ministry and Turkish Treasury Undersecretariat.
The joint study, which is for technical support for Turkish experts, is focused on health, retirement, actuarial system, corporate structuring and financing.
Meanwhile, the delegation, comprised of World Bank's energy sector experts, is giving technical support to Turkish experts on restructuring and privatization issues in energy sector.
Studies are concentrated on preparations for transition period to free market on energy market and adjustment of market.
Besides technical support, World Bank will provide financial assistance to energy and social security sectors under Country Assistance Strategy.
