ANTALYA - Representatives of Turkish tourism sector are ready for world's biggest tourism bourse ITB (International Tourism Bourse) which will be inaugurated in Berlin, Germany on March 5th.
Turkish Culture & Tourism Ministry will focus on promotion on regional basis. Especially tour operators, travel agencies, hotels and airline companies will take place in Turkish stand as ITB is organized for tourism professionals rather than for tourists directly.
A total of 57 institutions and enterprises from Turkish tourism sector will attend the fair.
Within the scope of the fair, Turkish Culture & Tourism Minister Ertugrul Gunay will hold a press conference on March 6th, and give information about developments in Turkish tourism.
Turkey will be the partner country of ITB in 2009.
A total of 10,923 institutions and/or companies will open stands in the fair.
ITB is expecting to host nearly 170,000 people this year.
Also nearly 8,000 journalists from 100 countries will watch the fair.
