ISTANBUL - Istanbul and Cairo Chambers of Commerce signed a cooperation protocol at the World of Industry (WIN) fair on Saturday.
A press release issued by Hannover-Messe Bilesim Fairs Co. said "2nd Egypt-Turkey cooperation days" was held in the second phase of WIN.
The statement said Istanbul and Cairo Chambers of Commerce signed a cooperation protocol in order to support the joint projects to be carried out in the future.
The protocol foresees cooperation in the fields of fair organisation, and training.
Talat Kavvas, Deputy Chairman of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, said they wanted to boost the current trade volume (1.5 bln USD) between the two countries to 5 bln USD within two or three years.
