TRIPOLI (CIHAN) - Turkish State Minister Responsible for Foreign Trade, Kürsad Tüzmen yesterday visited Libyan Prime Minister, Muhammed Ganem in Libya.
Tüzmen traveled to Libya along with a delegation of Turkish business yesterday. Tüzmen made a statement after the meeting with Ganem saying that, "We see Libya as a gateway to Africa and we want to start a new page in our relations with Libya.
There is still an issue of unpaid debt between the countries which is still is on agenda but we now want to strengthen commercial relations. We will discuss these topics before the Mixed Economic Council in August."
Tüzmen also visited Libyan Foreign Minister, Abdurrahman Muhammed Salkam.
