ANKARA (CÝHAN) - The US President George W. Bush was received by the Turkish President Ahmet Necdet Sezer on Sunday by a state ceremony.
US President, paying 1-day visit to Turkey ahead of NATO Summit in Istanbul, arrived in the Turkish Presidential Palace following his visit to Mausoleum of Ataturk.
The US President Bush was welcomed by the Turkish President Sezer at the Cankaya Presidential palace on Sunday at 11:30 am. Bush saluted the military parade outside the Presidential palace.
Two presidents started their meeting behind the closed door.
The US President Bush and his wife Laura Bush has meet the Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan in a breakfast in the Prime Ministry.
Bush later on Sunday will move to Istanbul. He will meet with spiritual leaders and will come together with Secretary General of NATO Jaap De Hoop Scheffer today. On Monday, George W. Bush will attend the NATO meeting.
