U.S. President Visits Anitkabir

ANKARA - U.S. President George Bush visited on Sunday Anitkabir, the Mausoleum of Ataturk, the Founder of Turkish Republic.
Bush, who came to Ankara for an official visit on Saturday, laid a wreath on Ataturk`s Mausoleum and signed the special book.
Security measures have been tightened in and around Anitkabir before Bush`s visit.
Bush had earlier met with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
U.S. President Bush is scheduled to meet with Turkish President Ahmet Necdet Sezer later in the day.
Bush will attend NATO Heads of State and Government Summit in Istanbul between June 28 and 29.
