Turkish Prime Minister Hopes His Meeting With Bush Will Be Beneficial

ANKARA - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed hope on Sunday that his meeting with U.S. President George Bush would be beneficial to both countries.
U.S. President Bush, who is paying a visit to Turkey, visited Erdogan at the Prime Ministry building.
Erdogan told reporters that this was Bush's first visit to Turkey, and expressed hope that their meeting on not only regional issues but also Turkish-U.S. relations would be beneficial to both countries.
Turkish Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul, U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell, Bush's National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice were also in attendance at the meeting.
