KOCAELI (CIHAN) - Acting on intelligence, Koaceli Police stopped a truck full of illegal immigrants from Northern Iraq in Gebze near the western Anatolian city of Kocaeli on Saturday.
The Turkish driver of the truck was detained. The illegal immigrants said during their interrogation that they had been seeking to migrate to Europe where they had intended to seek refugee status.
