Turkish State Minister Meets With Libyan Minister Of Oil

TRIPOLI - Turkish State Minister Kursad Tuzmen expressed on Saturday Turkish Oil Corp.'s (TPAO) demand to open new oil fields in Libya during his meeting with Libyan Minister of Oil Abdallah al-Badri.
Tuzmen, who visited al-Badri, conveyed TPAO's demand during the meeting.
Meanwhile, TPAO Director General Osman Saim Dinc told reporters that Libya would open an international tender for 8-10 oil searching fields, and said that TPAO was willing to carry out explorations in two fields.
Dinc stated that TPAO and the Libyan Ministry of Oil would make 1.5-2 billion U.S. dollars of investment for each field in case oil was struck in these fields.
Turkish State Minister Tuzmen and accompanying delegation went to Libya on Friday.
