AGRI (CIHAN) - One Turkish soldier was killed and 34 others were wounded in a traffic accident in eastern Turkish city of Aðrý on Thursday. 5 citizens were also wounded in the same accident.
A military vehicle transporting soldiers from the town of Malazgirt to city of Agrý collided with the coming automobile on road. Two vehicles plunged into Murat river. One soldier was killed and 39 passengers incuding 34 soldiers were wounded.
Two soldiers whose health conditions were critical were taken to the Agri Military Hospital while other wounded soldiers were lifted to the Agrý State Hospital.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
