ANKARA - Banks' credit volume rose 539.9 trillion Turkish liras (TL) to 74 quadrillion 87.4 trillion TL between June 4 and 11, 2004.
The total credit volume at banks was 73 quadrillion 547.5 trillion TL on June 4.
The credits given to financial sector were composed of 922 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 1 quadrillion 851.4 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
The credits given to non-financial sector were composed of 151.6 trillion TL of loans given by Central Bank, 65 quadrillion 814.5 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 5 quadrillion 45.5 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
