Syrian Agriculture Minister Safir Meets With Turkish Environment And Forestry Minister Pepe

ANKARA - Syrian Agriculture Minister Adil Safir met on Thursday with Turkish Environment and Forestry Minister Osman Pepe.
Safir and Pepe decided to sign a cooperation protocol on forestry between Turkey and Syria. The protocol will be signed in July.
Under the protocol, two countries plan to make dune afforestation in fields where there is risk of desertification in Syria and training of Syrian forest engineers in Turkey and carrying out a joint study.
