Gendarmerie Teams Seize 49 Kg Of Heroin

ISTANBUL/DENIZLI - Turkish gendarmerie squads confiscated 49 kg of heroin in an anti-drug operation in Istanbul.
Following a three-month technical investigation, gendarmerie teams conducted an operation in Pendik district of Istanbul and found 49 kg of heroin stashed in a car by the help of a sniffer dog.
Gendarmerie arrested 2 people who were about to send illicit drug to Europe.
Meanwhile in southwestern province of Denizli, gendarmerie forces impounded 2.2 kg of hashish and detained 2 people.
