There Was Absolutely No Genocide, Prof. McCarty

NEW YORK - World famous historian Justin McCarty said Monday there was no genocide of Armenians.
Armenians lost lives in 1915 due to diseases and famine, McCarty indicated.
Professor McCarty delivered a speech on the incidents of 1915 at a conference sponsored by the Turkish Students Association (TSA) at the University of Florida.
"Armenians died of hunger and diseases during the deportations," Prof. McCarty noted.
McCarty emphasized that Armenians established groups, with the help of Russians, and systematically attacked Turks in the region during 1915 and fought to gain independence.
The TSA sponsored conference gathered together a large audience of Turks and Americans.
