ANKARA - Turkish security forces found a hand grenade, various food and medical items and five kilograms of ammonium nitrate in a hideout in south-eastern province of Diyarbakir`s Lice town on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Turkish security forces in south-eastern province of Sirnak`s Silopi town found various ammunition and equipment belonging to the terrorist organization PKK in operations conducted on Sunday.
Ammonium nitrate is commonly used by terrorist organizations as an oxidizing agent in explosives.
