Political Party In Germeny Extends Support For Turkish Premier's Proposal To Open Turkish Schools In Germany

BERLIN - A political party in Germany voiced support on Monday for a proposal by Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to open Turkish schools in Germany.
"Mr Erdogan has aptly pointed to a very important problem," said Claudia Roth, co-chairperson of the Alliance 90/Greens.
Roth said there are 120 German schools and 1,700 German instructors abroad, adding that there are French and English high schools in Germany.
"I do not see any harm in opening schools that would teach both in Turkish and German," Roth said.
