Kazakh Businessmen Visit Bursa Chamber Of Commerce & Industry

BURSA - Kazakh businessmen headed by Narmukhan Sarybayev met members of the Chamber of Commerce & Industry in northwestern province of Bursa on Monday.
During the meeting, Sarybayev called on Turkish businessmen to invest in Kazakhstan and make joint investments.
On the other hand, Mahmut Yilmaz, deputy chairman of the executive board of the Turkish chamber, said the two countries can develop projects on transportation of energy and oil products to European countries via Turkey.
The businessmen were from Ontustik Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in South Kazakhstan Region. It was created in July 2005 to attract investors to textile industry which is very promising and gainful for the region and for Kazakhstan as a whole.
Ontustik SEZ is located in an enclosed land space near Shymkent city which is the administrative center of South Kazakhstan region. The territory of 200 hectares allocated to the SEZ is advantageously located close to transportation and energy infrastructure.
