ANKARA - A group of Cuban journalists visited Anadolu Agency (AA) HQ in Turkish capital of Ankara on Monday.
Dr. Hilmi Bengi, the Director General and President of Executive Board of the AA, briefed the Cuban journalists on history, structure, principles and goals of the agency.
"I hope you will leave Turkey with positive impressions," Bengi told the journalists during their meeting.
Bengi said the AA and Latin American news agency "Prensa Latina" think of cooperating with each other and therefore they have sent draft agreements to each other.
"However, we have not signed an agreement yet," he told.
On the other hand, Cuban journalist Rosalia Arnaez, who headed the group, said they want to make programs on historical, social and cultural aspects of Turkey and the Cuban Embassy in Ankara extended great support to them.
The delegation also toured the visual and photograph news desks of the AA.
