Roads to 143 villages were closed due to heavy snowfall in the region.
Meanwhile, Erzurum experienced the coldest night on Sunday with -26 degrees Celsius, meteorology officials said on Monday.
It was -16 degrees Celsius in Erzincan, -14 in Kars, -13 in Agri, -23 in Ardahan, and -3 in Igdir last night.
