GAZIANTEP - A funeral ceremony is being held for the nine Turks --who died in the fire in Ludwigshafen, Germany-- in Turkish southeastern province of Gaziantep on Monday.
Turkish state ministers Mustafa Said Yazicioglu and Mehmet Simsek, deputies from Gaziantep as well as Gaziantep Metropolitan Mayor Asim Guzelbey and many citizens are participating in the ceremony.
German Ambassador in Ankara Eckart Cuntz who also attended the ceremony said Turks who died in the fire were children of both Gaziantep and Ludwigshafen. Cuntz offered his condolences.
Many Turkish and foreign press members are covering the funeral ceremony.
Nine Turks including 5 children were killed and 20 others were injured in a fire in a building in Ludwigshafen city of Germany on February 3rd.
