RIZE - Turkish Black Sea province of Rize will be promoted in the world with "heliski".
Heliski is a downhill skiing that is accessed by a helicopter. Heliskiing is performed in limited places of the world.
Rize Governor Kasim Esen told A.A on Monday that they will introduce Rize to the world with heliski which is performed on Kackar mountains of Rize.
"We don`t expect a financial income from heliski. Our priority is to promote Rize to the world," he added.
Heliski has been performed at Kackar mountains since 2005. The mountains will host more than 300 heliskiers in 2008.
