MUNICH - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Saturday some EU leaders used expressions like 'privileged partnership' in regard to Turkey's EU accession process and Turkey finds such expressions inappropriate.
Erdogan participated in the inauguration of 44th Munich Conference on Security Policy in Munich.
"We believe that Turkey --as a stable partner-- should have an effective role in decision-making process of security issues of the EU," he stated.
"We think that our accession process settled on a stable ground. We don't have any question marks in our minds in regard to goal or result of this process," he said.
Turkey aims to become a full member of the EU, Erdogan stated. "Some European leaders use expressions like 'privileged partnership'. We find such expressions improper. One cannot change the rules in the middle of the game," he said.
Erdogan said, "Turkey is resolute to do what is required for the accession process."

Turkey has supported the peace process between Palestine and Israel from the very beginning and it still continues well-meaning initiatives, Erdogan said.
It is time to receive concrete results in regard to a resolution of problems in the Middle East, he stated.

Erdogan said NATO has become an organization serving for world stability and security and Turkey would keep assisting NATO in the next period.
