ANTALYA - Tour operators and hotel owners in Turkish resort province of Antalya aim to host 9 million tourists this year.
Sururi Corobatir, Chairman of Mediterranean Hoteliers Association, said 2008 would be a better year in tourism revenues than the previous year.
Reminding that last year 7.9 million tourists visited Mediterranean province of Antalya, Corabatir said, "we expect 10 percent rise from German, Dutch and Belgian markets, as well as 20 percent rise from Russia and Ukraine."
"We also expect a 20-40 percent increase from booming markets such as Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary," he added.
