ISTANBUL - Italian violinist Domenico Nordio will give an concert within the scope of "Istanbul State Symphony Orchestra Denizbank Concerts" at Ataturk Culture Center (AKM) in Istanbul on February 8th and 9th.
Nordio studied violin with Corrado Romano and Michèle Auclair. He began his concert career very young, winning the Vercelli "Viotti" International Competition at the age of 16, with Yehudi Menuhin as President of the panel of judges.
Nordio will perform pieces by Schubert and Mendelssohn-Bartholdy in the concert at AKM.
On the other hand, Barcelona-based singer-composer Cristina Vilallonga, who earned worldwide acclaim for her collaboration with the electronic tango ensemble Gotan Project in 2001 on their million-selling debut album "La Revancha Del Tango," will give a concert at Is Art Culture Center on February 8th.
