ANKARA - The Bars Union of Turkey (TBB) invited Thursday chairmen of 78 bars throughout Turkey to a meeting to discuss constitutional amendment bill.
The Turkish parliament is actually discussing the bill that frees headscarf in higher education institutions. The first round of voting took place on Wednesday, and the second round is due on Saturday.
The bill amends Article 10 (equality before law) and Article 42 (right and duty of training and education) of the Constitution.
The chairmen will also debate a bill regarding the Supreme Court of Appeals in their meeting on Saturday. The bill is actually at the table of the Justice Commission of the parliament.
TBB Chairman Ozdemir Ozok will make the opening remarks of the meeting.
