Turkey Is Removing All Obstacles In Front Of Its E.U. Membership

BARCELONA - Turkish State Minister Mehmet Aydin said on Monday that Turkey has been eliminating all obstacles that might cause problems to Turkey's European Union (EU) membership.
State Minister Aydin represented Turkey in the Fourth EU-Turkey meeting which began in Barcelona, Spain.
Stating that Turkey was fulfilling reforms rapidly to join the EU, Aydin said that Turkey had universal values. Aydin noted that Turkey, which was a bridge between West and Islam world, would put forth intercultural tolerance with its accession to EU.
Aydin stated, ''we cannot know what will happen after full membership negotiations start. We don't know where EU will reach 10 years later. What is important to start negotiations.''
