Number Of Tourists Coming To Antalya By Planes Exceeds Two Million

ANTALYA - The number of tourists coming to southern Antalya province by planes exceeded two million since the beginning of this year, Antalya Culture and Tourism Directorate said on Monday.
The Directorate stated that 32 thousand 453 tourists came to Antalya by planes on Sunday.
A total of 469 thousand 896 tourists came to Antalya between June 1 and 20 while the number of tourists coming to Antalya and its vicinity reached 2 million 71 thousand 468 between January 1 and June 20.
The number of tourists visiting Antalya rose by 28 percent in June 2004 when compared with June 2003.
One million 322 thousand 422 tourists visited Antalya between January 1 and June 20, 2003 and the number of tourists visiting Antalya between January 1 and June 20, 2002 was 1 million 605 thousand 540.
