WASHINGTON - Democrat Hillary Clinton Tuesday scooped the state of New Jersey in the presidential primaries, winning a majority of the 107 delegates up for grabs, US media said.
Clinton, who is battling Illinois senator Barack Obama for the Democratic Party presidential nomination, earlier also won her home state of New York, which has some 232 delegates to be shared out for the party's convention.
Television networks ABC and NBC both projected that Clinton would win New Jersey.
