ANKARA - ''National Policy Symposium in Adjustment Process to European Union (EU)'' will start on Monday.
The symposium is organized by Justice and Development Party (AK Party) Social Affairs Chairmanship.
AK Party Deputy Chairman Nukhet Hotar Goksel told a news conference that the symposium would take place between June 21 and 22.
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is also expected to participate in the symposium.
Advantages and disadvantages with respect to social policies in Turkey's EU membership process will be discussed at the symposium.
Goksel said representatives of local and foreign social institutions would join the meeting.
