ISTANBUL (CIHAN) - The Istanbul Stock Exchange (IMKB) National-100 Index closed on Friday with a slight gain of 62.70 points to finish at 16,964.08.
Shares gained 0.37 percent in value and the total trading volume was 344 trillion 607 billion 575 million Turkish Liras. The composite index reached 17,086.57 points at its highest level while dropping to 16,849.46 at its lowest level on Friday.
The composite index began the last trading day of the week at the Istanbul Stock Exchange with a buying trend on Friday. The index increased 38 points to 16,939 during the opening five minutes of today's first session when compared with Thursday's closing level. Stocks gained 0.22 percent in value on Friday at the beginning of the first session.
