ANKARA - Turkish truck driver Bulent Yanik, kidnapped in Iraq, was released on Thursday.
Turkish Embassy in Baghdad said Yanik, who was abducted together with an Egyptian truck driver Victor Tevfik Gerges two weeks ago, were released.
Gerges was also released.
Yanik and Gerges were carrying supplies to Iraq.

TURKISH TRUCK DRIVER UYMAZ RETURNS TO TURKEY
Turkish truck driver Sureyya Uymaz, who was injured by Iraqi resistance forces a week ago, returned to Turkey on Thursday.
Sureyya Uymaz (47) said he was delivering vegetables and fruits to U.S. Base in Tel Afar township near Mosul, Iraq.
Uymaz said Iraqi resistance forces followed him after he left U.S. base, adding, ``they opened gunfire on my truck near Syrian border. I was injured from the belly and shoulder. They left thinking I was dead. I was later hospitalized.``
Uymaz said he returned to Turkey after getting treatment in hospital for one week.
