ANKARA - Foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank dropped by 144 million U.S. dollars between June 4 and 11, 2004.
According to the Central Bank's weekly bulletin, the Central Bank's foreign exchange reserves which were 32 billion 687 million U.S. dollars on June 4 fell to 32 billion 543 million U.S. dollars on June 11.
Total foreign exchange reserves of banks and private finance organizations rose 1 billion 547 million U.S. dollars from 11 billion 461 million U.S. dollars to 13 billion 8 million U.S. dollars between May 21 and 28.
The international reserves of Turkey comprising gold reserves and foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank, commercial banks and private finance organizations climbed 1 billion 829 million U.S. dollars from 45 billion 818 million U.S. dollars to 47 billion 657 million U.S. dollars between May 21 and 28.
