ANKARA - Banks' credit volume rose 883.7 trillion Turkish liras (TL) to 73 quadrillion 547.5 trillion TL between May 28 and June 4, 2004.
The total credit volume at banks was 72 quadrillion 663.8 trillion TL on May 28.
The credits given to financial sector were composed of 915.9 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 1 quadrillion 859 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
The credits given to non-financial sector were composed of 154.4 trillion TL of loans given by Central Bank, 65 quadrillion 148.1 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 5 quadrillion 131.8 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
