Parliamentary General Assembly Sends Former State Ministers Ozkan And Onal To High Tribunal

ANKARA - Parliamentary General Assembly sent on Tuesday former State Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Husamettin Ozkan and former State Minister Recep Onal to High Tribunal.
The Assembly decided to send Ozkan and Onal to High Tribunal on charges of causing losses in Halk Bankasi by not taking necessary measures on time and allowing improper procedures to be carried on during their term in office.
Parliamentary General Assembly took the decision with 356 votes against 34 votes.
Following the transfer to High Tribunal, the file will be sent to Constitutional Court Chairmanship at latest within seven days.
