ANKARA - Turkish Treasury held two auctions on Tuesday to sell state notes denominated in Turkish lira (TL) with a coupon interest payment once in three months and 385-day discounted state notes.
In the first auction, the total bid had been 951.4 trillion Turkish liras (TL) while the Treasury sold 817.4 trillion TL of nominal-valued bonds. The net sale became 786 trillion TL.
State notes denominated in TL with a coupon interest payment will be issued on June 16 and repaid on June 14, 2006.
In the second auction, the total bid had been 1 quadrillion 554.3 trillion Turkish liras (TL) while the Treasury sold 676.9 trillion TL of nominal-valued bonds. The net sale became 515 trillion TL.
The composite interest was 29.48 percent and the simple interest became 29.71 percent.
385-day discounted state notes will be issued on June 16 and repaid on June 6, 2005.
