ANKARA - Turkish General Staff General Secretariat said on Tuesday that one terrorist was killed in an operation in southeastern Tunceli province.
General Staff General Secretariat issued a statement and said weapons and ammunition was also seized with the terrorist.
The statement also said one soldier was killed, one noncommissioned officer and a soldier were wounded in a terrorist attack in southeastern Sirnak province.
The statement said, ''in an operation launched in Kacarlar Village in Pertek, Tunceli on June 14, a terrorist was killed.''
It said one soldier was killed, one non-commissioned officer and one soldier were wounded when terrorists opened gunfire on patrolling security forces in Beytussebap township in Sirnak province on June 14.
The injured were hospitalized.
The statement said operations continue in the region.
