ISTANBUL - The Seventh Tale of Three Seas: Energy Conference will start in Istanbul on Wednesday.
Turkish Energy and Natural Resources Minister Hilmi Guler will make the opening remarks of the two-day conference organized jointly by the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) and the Cambridge Energy Research Associates (CERA) under the auspices of President Ahmet Necdet Sezer.
Fuel and Energy Development Minister Macid Karimov of Azerbaijan, CERA Chairman Joseph Stanislaw, DEIK Executive Board member Nihat Gokyigit, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Deputy Undersecretary Alev Kilic, U.S. President George W. Bush's Senior Advisor for Caspian Basin Energy Diplomacy Steven Mann and Iranian Special Representative Mahdi Safari will attend the conference.
Representatives of leading energy companies of the world will also be in attendance at the conference.
The first energy conference was held in 1998.
