LEFKOSA - President Rauf Denktas of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) received Turkish Agriculture and Rural Affairs Minister Sami Guclu, who is currently paying an official visit to TRNC.
Speaking at the meeting, President Denktas thanked Turkey for its aid to TRNC and its infrastructure investments, saying, ''we expect Turkey to maintain its assistance to TRNC in an active way.''
Meanwhile, Guclu noted that efforts to further improve mutual co-operation between Turkey and TRNC would be assessed during his visit to TRNC.
Agriculture and Forestry Minister Rasit Pertev of TRNC was also in attendance at the meeting.
