AYDIN - The Sixth Turkish-Greek Tourism Forum will start in Samos Island of Greece on June 17, 2004.
Releasing a statement, the Provincial Directorate General of Culture and Tourism in western province of Aydin said on Tuesday that Turkish Culture and Tourism Minister Erkan Mumcu and Greek Tourism Minister Demetris Avramopoulos would make the opening remarks of the forum.
Representatives of Turkish and Greek public and private sectors are expected to attend the forum.
The sides will exchange views on efforts to improve co-operation in tourism, and to increase mutual flow of tourists.
Later, a joint declaration will be signed.
During the forum, a co-operation protocol will be signed between the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies and the Association of Greek Travel Agencies to develop tourism from overseas countries.
The closing of the forum will take place in Kusadasi in Aydin on June 18.
