The Istanbul Stock Exchange Closes Tuesday With Gain At 17,230 Points

ISTANBUL (CIHAN) - The Istanbul Stock Exchange (IMKB) National-100 Index closed on Tuesday with a gain of 150.64 points to finish at 17,230.48.
Shares gained 0.88 percent in value and the total trading volume was 399 trillion 474 billion 56 million Turkish Liras. The composite index reached 17,236.21 points at its highest level while dropping to 16,954.87 at its lowest level on Tuesday.
The composite index began the day at the Istanbul Stock Exchange with a selling trend. The index decreased 54 points to 17,025 during the opening five minutes of today's first session when compared with Monday's closing level. Stocks lost 0.32 percent in value at the beginning of the first session.
